Occupational therapy supports, enables and advocates for children and families
to be able to do the things they need to do and want to do. It enables them to participate in occupations they find meaningful. For children, these include; self-care (toileting, showering, dressing), play, engaging with peers and student roles (handwriting, organising backpack etc.).

Occupational therapy sessions with Building Creative Children can occur
within the home, kinder, day care or school. Sessions within the education
system are dependent on the service that your child attends and is at their discretion whether or not services occur there.
Wait times can vary depending on your availability and therapist availability. Unfortunately the most requested time for sessions is after school and therefore these wait times can be quite long.
No. We only offer occupational therapy services currently.
Unfortunately, Building Creative Children do not offer equipment prescriptions at this time and it is recommended you seek support from an occupational therapist that provides this service.

Yes. We accept self-managed and plan- managed participants through NDIS.
Medicare rebates are also available through a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) provided by your GP. If you do not have access Government funding or rebate scheme our services can be paid for privately.
